I have been teaching fitness classes for 36 years and although I am the Club Manager of a busy Ladies only gym (Hearts Health Club), I am passionate about teaching and still include sessions in my schedule.

My interest in Pilates began when my son was a baby and I was teaching part time freelance fitness classes after studying in Liverpool. I am qualified in Level 2 gym instructor, ETM, Fitness Yoga and Pilates and I have a distinction in Les Mills Body Balance as well as NVQ in Leisure Management. I’m also Peak Pilates Reformer Certified.

Fitness has always been a passion for me and I love to help others achieve the benefits of keeping fit, healthy and active.

My favourite motto:

What to expect in Debbie’s class:
I love to ‘set the scene’ in my classes for my members to experience the workout they came for. Mood lighting, soft music, warm studio and calming smells for beginners and intermediate workouts or up tempo music and a cooler studio for more advanced classes.

I am a Stott Pilates Matwork & Reformer Instructor and specialise in in 1-2-1 reformer coaching.

I teach mindful movement with functional exploration through movement.

I am also a Yin, Tantra & Kundalini Yoga teacher, and I am also Peak Pilates Reformer Certified.

I started my fitness journey as a running coach after giving up smoking 15 years ago. I joined Hearts Health club as a member and then became their new running coach encouraging others to run. Some have even gone on to complete half and full marathons.

I was inspired to continue helping others and went on to achieve my level 2 in fitness and also exercise to music. I am a fully qualified Les Mills body pump instructor, which I teach daily. I’m also Peak Pilates Reformer Certified. I am currently studying to achieve my Level 3 in personal training.

Being a mother of 6, it has not been easy to study whilst juggling work and family life, but I strongly believe in not making excuses and working hard to achieve your goals.

I absolutely love my job and I’m blessed to be able to help others achieve their goals.

I am a qualified Les Mills Bodypump Instructor, Les Mills Bodycombat Instructor Advanced and Les Mills Bodybalance Instructor. I’m also Peak Pilates Reformer Certified.

I work at Hearts Ladies Health Club, Crosby. I teach a range of classes alongside being a fully qualified personal trainer. I love what I do and am passionate about the people I teach or train and try to teach a range of ages and fitness levels in my classes adapting so that everyone can enjoy a work out!

I am excited to start this new challenge teaching reformer Pilates and look forward to the people I will meet on this journey. Your greatest achievement is to be happy in who you are every day.

I have been in the fitness industry for 27 years. Dance and fitness have always been such a passion of mine from a young age.

I have a very happy family life with my husband, son, daughter and our little dog, Bobby. We love spending time with our families and friends too.

I specialise in a range of fitness classes for all ages and abilities from High Intensity to mind and body. Having trained as a dancer, the importance of having a good posture, alignment and creating good core control in the body is what I want members to achieve in my classes.

I love helping people reach their goals and to enjoy exercise. Interacting with each person in my class is always so important to me and for them to leave my classes with a spring in their step.

I am qualified in ETM, Level 2 Gym instructor, Level 3 GP Referrals, Fitness Yoga & Pilates, Les Mills Bodybalance, Les Mills Body Pump, Boxercise, Zumba, Spin and TRX suspension. I’m also Peak Pilates Reformer Certified.
